    Escape to Mansfield for a long weekend, following the Targa High Country's picturesque routes.
    Day 1
    Drive to Mansfield then unwind over a fabulously fresh lunch at the Mansfield Produce Store. Browse the shelves for local gourmet products to enjoy over the weekend.
    Take the winding, scenic Targa route along Mansfield-Whitfield Road to Powers Lookout for breathtaking views across the Alpine National Park.Visit Stringybark Reserve's historic Kelly Tree, one of many points of interest along the region's Ned Kelly Trail.
    Check in at Wombat Hills Cottages, where the idyllic lake, gardens and expansive views belie its close proximity to Mansfield's town centre.
    Cook up the mouth-watering barbecue hamper provided by your hosts. Dine in the lakeside gazebo, or by your cottage's woodfire if it's chilly.
    Day 2
    Breakfast amid Wombat Hills' tranquil natural setting.
    Saddle up with Watson's Trail Rides for equine adventure through stunning High Country scenery followed by lunch at Kinloch winery.
    Take the Targa route to Mount Buller for more spectacular vistas and the Alpine Museum.

    Day 3
    Breakfast in Studio 7's sunny, secluded courtyard.
    Head south on the Targa route to Jamieson, where one of Goulburn Valley Fly Fishing's congenial guides can show you the way on the pristine rivers feeding nearby Lake Eildon.Sample Jamieson Brewery's refreshing ales over a hearty lunch.
    Continue to Eildon for a final dose of sensory indulgence by the lake, such as boating or bird-watching, before heading home.
